Kliptra ("Kliptra," "we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Kliptra iOS app and related services.

Kliptra may collect or access the following information depending on how you use the app:
a. Media You Choose to Use
If you import videos, record your screen, record camera clips, record microphone audio, or create projects in the app, Kliptra will access and process that content so the app can provide its editing and export features.
b. Device and App Information
We may collect limited technical information such as device type, operating system version, app version, and basic diagnostic data to maintain app performance, troubleshoot issues, and improve the app.
c. Subscription and Purchase Information
If you purchase a subscription, Apple processes the transaction. We do not receive your full payment card number or full payment details. We may receive information from Apple confirming the status of your subscription.
2. How We Use Information
We use information only to:
- provide and operate the app
- enable recording, editing, saving, and exporting video projects
- support subscription features
- improve app stability, performance, and user experience
- respond to support requests
- detect misuse, fraud, or abuse
3. Screen Recordings, Camera, Microphone, and Media
Kliptra is designed to let you create demo videos from screen recordings and other media. Because of this, the app may request access to:
- Screen Recording functionality
- Microphone
- Camera
- Photo Library or Files
These permissions are used only to provide features you directly choose to use.
4. Local Processing
Whenever possible, Kliptra processes recordings, edits, overlays, and exports locally on your device.
We do not use your recordings, imported media, audio, or project content to train AI or machine learning models.
5. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information.
We may share information only in the following limited situations:
- with Apple for in-app purchases and subscription management
- with service providers that help us operate, maintain, or improve the app
- if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request
- to protect the rights, safety, and security of users, our services, or others
6. Data Retention
Projects and media you create or import are stored on your device unless you delete them.
We retain technical or support-related information only for as long as reasonably necessary for operational, legal, security, or support purposes.
7. Your Choices
You can control app permissions at any time in iOS Settings, including access to the microphone, camera, photos, and files.
You may also delete your projects and exported files from your device at any time.
8. Children's Privacy
Kliptra is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date above.
